Richmond Roughriders usually shoot 5 to 6
standard SASS stages, rain-or-shine, on the
2nd Sunday of "even" months at the Richmond Rod & Gun Club, along
San Pablo Bay in Richmond, CA [MAP]

Match Info: Standard SASS rules apply. Sign-ups start at 8:30 am. Match fee
is $15 per shooter.
"Juniors" (ages
12 through 17)
are free. Shooters and
spectators under 18
years require parental
permission.
Of course, spectators are
free. Adequate eye & ear protection
required of all shooters
and spectators. Appropriate western attire is preferred.
Our semi-monthly match
usually runs
from 9 am to 1 pm.

INFORMAL CAS PRACTICE:
Practice is held on the 2nd Saturday of "ODD"
months from 9:30 am to 1 pm. The fee
is just $9 per shooter and at least 2 standard
CAS stages are set up to be used fror practice/drill
and coaching. This practice is very informal
and ballcaps, sneakers and shorts are okay.
Also, be advised, the practice may be canceled
(without notice) for bad weather or a conflicting annual match.

| DRIVING DIRECTIONS: |
From the Bay Bridge:
Follow I-80 east to Highway 580 west
turn off marked San Rafael which is opposite
Golden Gate Fields. You must be in either
of the two right hand lanes to exit on Highway 580 west.
Proceed approximately 5.5 miles to "Richmond
Parkway" exit. Stay to right and make
a right turn at the stop light at the bottom
of the exit ramp. This will put
you on the Richmond Parkway.
Follow the Parkway for around 3.5 miles to
the 7th stop light (Goodrick Avenue).
Turn left on Goodrick and you will
see the club immediately on your left.
From the San Rafael Bridge:
You can follow the same route from the Richmond
San Rafael Bridge by exiting at
the first exit after the bridge which turns
into the Richmond Parkway. Goodrick Avenue
will be the tenth stoplight when coming from that direction.
From Sacramento and points East:
Take I-80 West toward San Francisco and cross
the Carquinez Bridge from Vallejo into Crockett.
From the bridge, it is about 7 miles on I-80
to the Richmond Parkway Exit.
Take the Fitzgerald Ave. / Richmond Parkway
exit. Take a right at Fitzgerald Ave., heading
west. When you cross over San Pablo Avenue,
it becomes Richmond Parkway. Stay on Richmond
Parkway for about 4 miles and you'll go over
a bridge and pass over Giant Rd./Hwy. and
railroad tracks below. The next signal light
is Goodrick Avenue. Make a right there and
the range is on your left.
