Dear BCVC Members,
We have worked hard to put together a comprehensive Internet website that adequately represents our group. Please take some time to review this site, in its entirety, and send us any suggestions for improvement. This website is designed for a wide and diverse audience using a variety of equipment, software and bandwidth. Although there are a lot of things we could try to accomplish here, we have made a conscious effort to ensure that everyone can benefit from this website, without alienating those with older computer systems, dial-up modem connections or other limited technical capabilities.

The primary goal of this website is to improve communication among our members and associates by providing relevant and accurate event information in an effort to increase involvement and participation in well-run local and regional CAS events by all "cowboy action enthusiasts" (BCVC/SASS members and non-members alike). In an effort to improve the status of local CAS shooting, one of our goals is to actively encourage SASS membership among those local shooters that may be interested. If you are not a SASS member, you should be. The Single Action Shooting Society®, has done more to promote our sport than any other single organization in the world.

The BCVC is a small network of very active and competitive CAS shooters.. As you may well know, the Barbary Coast Vigilance Committee (BCVC) is not a club per se, but more of a committee (hence the name) of active CAS participants that may or may not be SASS members or Richmond Roughriders and/or members of one of the many other Northern California CAS/SASS Clubs.

This website is certainly not intended as a "recruitment" tool for the BCVC. We have reached our self-imposed limit of 103 active members. Those that have dropped out of the sport are encouraged to sell back their used BCVC badges to The Committee for what they initially paid for them, or what they are worth, depending on condition. Call 650-589-0505 for more information.

We have no formal by-laws.. our word is our bond and we live by three simple words.. LIBERTY, LOYALTY & JUSTICE. In a nutshell, BCVC members help other BCVC members (and their family members) like they were their own family.

If you have not had an opportunity to attend a local (SF Bay Area) CAS match recently, you may not have completed a "BCVC Member Update" form. If that is the case, please send an e-mail to us by [CLICKING HERE].

In your message please include the following information for our member records:
