~ Evil Swede's Cocktail of the Month~
Alexander Young (circa 1841)
aka: Whiskey &
Juice
1½ to
2 oz. Bourbon whiskey
½ oz. fresh
orange juice
½ oz. pineapple
juice
1 teaspoon
lemon juice
1 dash grenadine
1 dash bitters
Combine with ice and shake well. Strain over
crushed ice and garnish with sliced fruit
or 1 oz. Triple Sec "float" or
add 1/2 oz of light rum and leave out the
bitters to make a traditional "Kentucky
Cooler."
